Project Go-Green Short Environment Film

Environmental issues have become a great concern for mankind at present time as these issues are affecting and will affect earth and us badly. As such, there are quite a number of environmentalists or movement either government or non-governmental trying and fight the injustice human commit towards earth. As part of that initiative this project intends to encourage the architecture students to do their part by producing short films that reflects these concerns and to part of the change for a better world and be on the big screen with their creative thoughts.

Objectives & Learning Outcomes

To increase awareness of current environmental issues locally and globally
To explore the local and global context of growth and therefore realizing the relationship between growth and its impact on the environment
.Recognize the effect of growth on the environment (nature % environment)
Explore the concept of environmental and ecological sustainability
Exemplify creativity in attempting to explore the current environmental circumstances
Recognize role and responsibility of an architect towards environment and society

Waste Disposal ;Construction Waste

Reflection

Througout this project i am more aware of environmental issues and waste disposal has been part of the majority environment matters in our country. Therefore, i have learned what are the impacts cause waste disposal to happen in Malaysia. In order to solve these poblems, we have found out some useful solution to stop construction waste from happening often which are reuse, reduce,recycle and prevent. Hence, through this assignment, i have broaden my knowledge on environment sustainable and also the creativity skill in producing a short film which contains impact and solution.

"Construction waste" means any substance, matter or thing which is generated as a result ofconstruction work and abandoned whether or not it has been processed or stockpiled before being abandoned.
